# AgentRelay (Watch · 值更)

> AgentRelay (repository "Watch", Chinese 值更) is a free, MIT-licensed, local CLI and macOS desktop tool that hands an in-progress AI coding-agent session (conversation history, tool calls and working directory) from Claude Code to OpenAI Codex, OpenCode or Kimi CLI when the first agent runs out of quota or gets stuck. Conversion runs on your machine and Watch has no server of its own; only the target agent's own CLI talks to the network. Tool events may degrade to text and degraded items are reported.

Version: 0.1.1. Site launched 2026-09-12. Requires Node.js >= 22.13 (node:sqlite) and the agent CLIs you use, already authenticated.
Status: early stage. Source public on GitHub (MIT). No npm package yet; install by cloning the repository. Desktop builds are published on the GitHub Releases page when a version tag passes CI (macOS arm64 is the only validated platform).
Not related to other products named "AgentRelay" (agentrelay.com, several npm packages, a LinkedIn company).

Adapter status: Claude Code (source or target; local JSONL history; strict cwd match), OpenAI Codex CLI and Codex Desktop (official single-session import with prepare, preview, confirm; verified by a real Tauri click-through on 2026-09-10 on macOS arm64 with Codex CLI 0.153.4; model continuation not verified), OpenCode (CLI adapter over the SQLite store; official Web/TUI path not integrated), Kimi CLI (adapter; creating a session invokes the kimi CLI), Pi CLI and Grok CLI (adapters retained, not validated; Grok has no desktop card).
Not supported: Antigravity, Claude Desktop Code, Windows and Linux (buildable, not validated), attachments (dropped, text placeholder kept), guaranteed zero data loss, quota bypass, code migration.
